This cemetery is located on Long Road in Short Gap, WV and on the farm land that once belonged to Philip Long. It has at times been called the Frankfort High School Cemetery because it is located behind the school and on land that is now owned by the school.

The Abes and Herricks buried here are the father in-law, mother in-law, brother of her husband, two daughters and two grandsons of Lacy Ann (Long) Abe. Lacy is the daughter of Mary (Flood) Long and adopted daughter of Philip Long who are buried here. She is buried with her husband, Nicholas Abe, in the Abe Cemetery.

Mary (Flood) Long is the daughter of John Long who owned a good portion of the county at one time.
